In a poverty stricken region such as El Salvador, access to clean drinking water is a tremendous challenge geographically and financially. Remote villages don’t have the local access to clean water and lack the financial resources to buy clean water or filtration systems.

Our group of 14 this year will be working with local organizations to help drill wells and install filtration systems for small communities who’s water supply is contaminated. The organization we will be working with is called Aqua Viva and is in association with Franklin Graham’s organization, Samaritan’s Purse. We will spend 4 days working to bring clean water to villages and will then move to serve the same local schools and orphanage from last year. We leave March 19 and return March 28.

Of our team, each individual is tasked with raising $1300 to pay for their costs of the trip – which includes housing, food and transportation in and out of the country. We are seeking financial support from friends, family and colleagues and to anyone interested in this trip and cause. All team members are in their early 20s and need as much support as possible to make the trip happen.
