Epic Life Thursday Gatherings

THURSDAYS - WHAT TO EXPECT

Epic Life hosts weekly gatherings Thursday nights in the Sacramento area. Our most frequent gatherings take place at the Performing Arts Center of CCC School located at 9470 Micron Avenue in Sacramento. Each Thursday you might experience something a little bit different. Most typically you’ll find a fun social group of people talking and playing foosball around 7pm with lots of munchies and candy. About 10 minutes later, the main doors to the performing arts center are opened up to reveal large screens playing videos to kick off the evening. After some announcements, the band rocks the house with some of the most popular and contemporary tunes. We like really loud good music. The average age of the group is 26 years old with our range reaching college / career adults between the ages of 18 and 35.

The rest of the evening consists of a challenging message with life a life application for today’s culture. The interior format frequently consists of round tables to provide a more interactive and social experience with other people and to let your voice be heard. We also incorporate text messaging participation with the speaker to let your opinions influence the night and help shape the evening with your own voice. Look for renowned guest speakers once a month to provide encouraging and inspiration challenges as they share their Epic Life.

The night typically ends with a second session with the band where people can enjoy a powerful music experience to end the night. After the night ends (typically around 9pm), you can expect to hang out with other friends and perhaps go participate in some social gathering (getting food or other hangout) or get ready for a lively sporting activity (basketball, dodgeball, volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, etc).

For example, One a month we host an all music night where the night is purely focused on powerful music and hanging out with friends. Other sporadic weeks might find us off site at a local park BBQing or hosting socials off site.
